Darcy Warrington was first elected MLA for Saskatoon Stonebridge in 2024. Since that time he served as the opposition Shadow Minister for Parks, Culture and Sport, and a member of the Standing Committee on Privileges. Recently, in January of 2026, he was named Shadow Minister for Highways, Infrastructure, and SGI.
Beyond Darcy’s current responsibilities in his Shadow Portfolio, he has worked to advocate for rent controls, improved community safety, solutions to lack of family doctors and day-plus wait times in Emergency Rooms, and better support for students, families, and staff in our schools.
He and his wife Christina live in Stonebridge where they are raising their 6-year-old son, Miles. Darcy grew up in Marengo, Saskatchewan as the son of a farmer and a schoolteacher. He attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 2008.
Darcy taught for almost 17 years for Saskatoon Public Schools, where he worked with students between kindergarten and grade 8 as a band, arts education, physical education, and homeroom teacher. Over the years, he has conducted many musical ensembles and coached various extra-curricular athletic groups. In 2024, the Physical and Health Educators of Saskatchewan awarded him the Local Initiative Award for engaging his students via the national Game Changers program. He also made a successful grant application, which brought additional First Nations, Inuit, and Métis resources and a circus arts program with materials to promote leadership and inclusiveness at wâhkôtowin School in Saskatoon. He also remains active with two community associations in Saskatoon including Stonebridge Community Association.
Darcy is humbled, honoured, and excited to serve the constituents of Saskatoon Stonebridge and the people of Saskatchewan. He is committed to representing those who live here in a good way so that their experiences and perspectives are known and valued.
