The Special Olympics Saskatchewan hosted a Polar Plunge in support of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics In January. I was lucky to be joined a bit by my fellow NDP caucus MLAs, Don and Brittany. I don't think Brittany had tried anything similar before, and I can safely say that any enthusiasm exhibited in the lead-up was quickly transformed to distress within seconds as we plunged into the ice. After recovering, at least physically, in the hot tub, Brittany let me know it wasn't enough to restore any sense of adventure for any more ice challenges in the future. I was pleased in knowing my torment went to good use. Honored to serve any way that I can.
