I was honoured to be joined by my SaskNDP colleagues and various community leaders, for an amazing evening at the Champions for Change Gala, 2026. Thank you to People Bridge Advocacy for hosting this event, celebrating the flourishing multicultural presence in this community, and for your continued support and advocacy towards change.
In particular, we appreciate Senos Timon for his leadership and for the incredible words by keynote, Dr. Vincent Bruni-Bossio. His words on equity, diversity, inclusion, anti-racism, indigenization, and reconciliation could be broadly summarized by these simple words he shared,
“We don’t have culture because we are smart, we are smart because we have culture.”
